Abstract
Environmental silica dust study at Queisna Sand Bricks Factory howed that concentrations of dust far exceeded the OSHA PEL tandard.
The work place environments seem to he uncontrolled and lack ngineering control. The machinery is an old fashioned leading to issions of large quantities of dust.
this study provides further evidence that exposure to silica dust can d to functional changes in the kidney, both at the glomerular and bular levels. It also suggests that glomerular changes precede bular changes.
