IN VIVO STUDIES: These studies were carried out on 110 swiss albino mice and classified into two main groups: Group I: studied bone marrow chromosomal aberrations and mitotic index and was subdivided into 5 subgroups: [Subgroup 1: included 15 mice, served as-ve control, each was injected with 0.5 ml saline I.P. The animals were sacrified after 1, 3 and 7 days (5< animals/period). Subgroup 2: included 5 mice, served as +ve control, each was injected rith a single dose of mitomycin C 20 micro-gm/mouse/day l.P and aerified after 24 hours. ibgroup 3: included 10 mice, 5 of them were injected l.P with a single sse of flagyl 160 mg/kg/days (3 mg/mouse/day), while the others were(jected with the same single dose of flagyl conjugated with oral intake. |
