More recently a large number of benzothiazoles structure derivatives were found to exhibit pharmacological activity. This reported activity of benzothiazoles and related structure derivatives coipled with our interest in the synthesis of biological active compounds and led us to synthesis some new benzothiazoles and related structure derivatives of anticipated biological activity
