Abstract

Chapter (1)
A literature survey includes four parts.
1-history occurrence of zirconium and hafnium elements, their abundance
2-the chemistry of zirconium and hafnium elements, their aqueous chemistry, coordination chemistry and metal clusters.
3-the thiosemi carbazomes, their structure, their coordination character and their importance
4-delydroacetic acid, and its complexing mode
Chapter(2)
Describe the experimental techniques including five parts.
1-the materials
2-the instruments used
3-preparation of the organic ligands
4-preparation of the solid complexes
5-preparation of the solutions
Chapter(3)
This chapter includes the results obtained and their discussions and it divides into four parts
1-in this chapter the characterization of the chemical structures of the ligands have been described.
2-the results of the obtained solid complexes of zirconium (iv) and hafnium (iv)with; dehydroacetic acid n4
Methylthiosemicarbazone (ha4m),dehydroacetic acid 3-hexamethyleneiminylthiosemicarbazone (dapip),dehydroacetic acid 3-hexamethyleneiminylthiosemicarbazone (dahexim), dehydroacetic acid n4-ethylthiosemicarbazone (dh4et), dehydroacedticocid (n4-diethylthiosemicarbazone(da4det)and dehydroacetic acid n4-phenylthiosemicarbazone (da4ph)have been discussed
