Abstract
Triamcinolone acetonoid(TA) granules twine around the vitreous body and thus allow transparent vitreous to be visualized & therefore helps to achieve complete removal of the vitreous from the retina, thus improving the effectiveness of such surgical technique, and obtaining better visual outcomes
The aim of this study is to evaluate the intra-operative value of Triamcinolone assisted pars plana vitrectomy, and to detect and record any complications.
