Abstract Young adults constitute the major and the most important sector of ilation. It is the age of utmost physical, mental & social fitness; vity; mobility as well as productivity. Health status assessment of Ring adult males is by far the most important qualiiing determinant jired for joining to the military services. For many years, the health i young people has been neglected because they are generally less erable to disease than children or aged people. However, many problems are enfacing them, these problems may be originated at 1r stage of life, or arise primarily in response to the risk behavior of e young people. Despite the magnitude of this population segnient, no information on their health profile and only few researches have rted to study health problems of this sector. Accordingly, this study was conducted aiming to figure out the -ion health problems and related factors among this group, as their J- status might reflect that of the general young population. To fulfill this aim, cross sectional study was carried out on group 500 young adult males from Alexandria, Beheira and Mersa Matrough rates attending the medical examinations for military service. y were selected by proportional allocation among all enlisted persons the systematic random sample. The study was achieved in idria Camp of Military Services. All the examinations and estigations were performed in The Diagnostic Unit of the camp. |
