Abstract
Years .All patients fulfilled the ACR diagnostic criteria of RA .
All patients wear subjected to the following
• History taking with pain severity evaluation VAS
• Clinical examination :general , Locomotor System examination with assessment of joint tenderness by applying RA .
• DAS
• MHAQ
• Determination walking time
• Routine laboratory investigations
• Plain X-ray of hands and feet in posteranterior view ,then they wear scored according to SHS.
• Plain X-ray Of large joints (elbows, shoulders, hips, Knees, ankles and subtalars ) in pesteroanterior view, then they were scored according to Larsen scoring system .
The results showed the following:
• A statistically highly significant correlation was observed between disability and age of the patients and disease activity parameters.
