It was found tbat tbe incidence of infection is almost
tbe same in female & and male cbildren., But tbe incidence
was in creased in tbe lower social classes.

Howevere, some cases were stool Positive in spite of
absence of Conplaints.
Someotber cases suffered from iron deficiency anaamia
especially tbose infected witb giardiases.
from tbis study, it was noticed that single stool
analysis for intestinal protzoamay give false negative
results.

It was foundtbat tbe incidence of infection witb
intestinal protozoal diseases sucb as giardiasis and
amaebiasis may reacb up to 47% with iron deficiency
anaemia.
