Abstract
The main purpose of the present study was to determine some genetic parameters, which used to study the genetic behavior for same economical traits by using two statistical methods as follow: 1- Top crosses (line x tester) experiment. 2- Six-population experiment I. Top crosses ( line y tester ) experiment: The genetic materials which were chosen in the present investigation included eight Egyptian cotton varieties and two new germplasm (Gossypium barbademe L.), six of them namely G70, G77, G85, G86, G87 and G88 were used as alines, in addition to G45, G89, Korshenky2 (Indian cotton variety) and Suvin (Russia cotton variety) were used a testers crossed in a factorial mating design outlined by kompothome (1957).
