Abstract
The present study was carried out to obtain the basic data required to construct a management policy for the rational exploitation of Liza saliens in Lake Qarun
Monthly samples of liza saliens were obtainted from the different landing sites of lake Qarun through 1993.
Fisheries of lake Qarun :- the increasing salinity have been caused the disappearance of most Nile fishers that originally found in the lake and consequently the commercial catch DROPped from 4000 ton in 1920 to an average of 1000 and 2000 ton in tne Subsequent years
