Abstract
The area under consideration lies to the east of the river nile north east of assiut city . it limited by the latitudes 27 05 and 27 25n and the long itudes 31 00 and 31 00 and 31 25 ecoverting about 276 km 2 . the present work aims to study the hydrogeological conditions and hydrogeo chemical characters of ground water aquifers in the area .
