Abstract
Plantar fasciitis is a common orthopedic problem characterized by pain in the plantar area of the heel . It’s the most common cause of heel pain in athelets as well as those not involved in sports.The aim of this work is to compare the effect of local steroid injection, phonophoresis with corticosteroid and heel pad insert in the treatment of plantar fasciitis.*This study was carried out on 45 patients with plantar fasciitis collected from the outpatient clinic of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department, Tanta University Hospitals.Their age ranged from 30 to 50 years, with a mean age of 42.07 +_ 7.78 ,38 were females and ’7 were males.The patients were randomly classified into 3 groups according to the line of treatment matched in age, sex and duration of complaint.
