Abstract
For a long time, Science fiction-as a literary genre has been ohettoized from literary celebration and creticsm. Because of being confused with American commercial science fition movies, comic books and animation, Science fiction has been scorned in academic and unwelcome in literary courses. The result is agreat loss for both writers and readers. The first need others to interpret their works for them and the latter lose much of science fiction’s entertaining and literary potential. This however has notbeeb totally unjustified.
