المستخلص The research aims at a disclosure of the deep vision of time in it’s universal and personal concepts, as it appealed to me since the first perusing of Abied Ebnul - A brass’ poetry work, and inspired me to dedicate all the powers of research to this aim. Time is one of the most important components in the language stnucture of his poetry, and one of the most distinguished constituents. We can hardly read a verse which doesn’t have a certain time dimension that makes it valid to tell something. The research is built upon the text itself without any introductory dissertation, except the Aim of the research; that’s an analysis of Abid’s vision of the time with it’s universal concep on one hand, and it’s personal concept on the other hand. Trying to reach this, this study has been done in three chapter preceded by an introduction, where which I discussed the difficulties that face the researcher, like the lack of resources in addition to the difficult language of the poetry work. But thanks to language lexicons and poetry works investigators, as they helped surmounting these difficulties. In the first chapter I approached the universal time as the port felt it to be, and that is discussed in three themes. The first : tells what the time meant to the Arabs, in addition to the philosopher’s vision of time and comparing the time as it appealed the pre - Islamic thought and the Islamic one, and the meaning of fate in the holy Qur’ an, then the grammatical time, which includes the meaning of the verb -2- and it’s subdivisions, the adverbs and coj un ctions, besides the contemporaries’ ideas about the division of time: Second theme: Days as they are part of the universal time vowed by Bani- Asad days in A bied’s poetry, as the researcher’s observed how accurate the expressions were, that poet used to express time with it’s variations. Of their days there .were: Nessar day, Jeffar day, Hazar day and Merrar day. I also discussed the mage of the mare and the significance of time indications in the which widens up the atmosphere of magination and deepens the inspiration. In the third theme: I have discussed fate complaint and the sense of defeat which the poet had, that resulted in the wisdom poetry springing off the long experience in life. And his complaint from fate in addition to the distinguished vision of time which the M’ a1aqa (hanging) has, that vision which is a clear image of the psychology of the poet, his life and emotions. The second chapter : Comes under the title of: Artistic time in the poem and it’s significance .That was presented in three themes, preceded by an introduction, where which I approached the concept of artistic time which the poet had created in his poem, and it’s significance. -3-- The first theme was: The time of the stopping by the ruins, the” ruins” is the point where time and place dimensions get together in the poem, it’s a place that has an intense time. The secondtheme: Was a survay of the image and it’s sub divisions; time less image, time mage. The former is ; the image where time is not a structural component and’ has nothing to do with it . it’s a reflection of the poet’s self in a timeless moment, and away from the super powers that dominated time and the poet him self is a subject to them; like the image of the mare, the she - camel, the weapons, the lightning, the clouds, the rains , the dessert and the woman, As they present the life constants and therefore above fate. The last: the time image throughout the time, for image rounded up components of time and place that are completely remora from one another, But would soon come in term together in one emotional from work which rounds up all the scatterings in on time unit eg : the vast time mage of the woman and the vast time mage of the scene of the war. The third theme: Approached the psycological time which is above fate, it’s a reflection of the poet’s self, for the image doesn’t go along the natural process of time but it goes with the psychological condition of the poet. ego Psychological time of stopping by the ruins, psychological time and it’s relation with woman and the psychological time with it’s relation to aging. -4- Finally we ended up with the third chapter: lexical time and it’s significance here the researcher is concerned with studying the language of the poet and their time three themes. The first theme: Approaches the time of the verbal sentence in the context and the significance of recalling the past through verbs) the encounter between past and present) in addition to the poet’s transion from the present to the past then from the past to the present. The second theme: approaches time significance of the nomen sentence) and how it affected the poem’s structure. The th ird theme: dealt with: time significance of significance connections. I elaborated the solidity of the context by means of style polishing eg: repetition grammatical conjunctions like the pronouns and conjunctions besides the significance of the conditional clause. Then the solidity of the profound context by means of fabrication which includes; description and image. Those chapters were followed by the conclusion wherein came the most important conclusion that the researcher has reached: (1) Abid represent the pre- islamic’s point of view of the universe where simplicity and innocence reache the chimax, in a way that surpasses all who came after him , he used the time in such an intense way either in term offate and days and night’s sequence, or in a personal term . -5- (2) The poet was able to make us feet the way he felt abut the time and let his time experience abounds us as if the poem is the over- flowing spring of the time. (3) an overall reading of the poetry work shows us how Abid intended implicity and not ovoid it or try to escape from it, to gire his words sequence and solidity. (4) Finally 0 concluded that the poet’s use of time items contributed to enrich the time in the context for the lexical item helped him to express the past and remote past, and mare over the event when it’s continuous or perfect, uncompleted and repeated or interrupted. At the end I should thank god for being able to complete this study. The researcher |
