joday, epilepsy has more secrets to confide to the neurologist or neu-rosurgeon who can understand the ”tongue” she speaks (Boesebeck etal.,2002 Epilepsy, from the Greek epilepsia (a taking hold of or seizing) is a chronic disorder characterized by a spontaneous tendency for recurrent sei¬zures. Seizures are the clinical manifestation of abnormally hyperexcitable cor¬tical neurons (HuiandYeung2001).
