The Summary of the Study
The present study aims at preparing a programme for the environmental education in the field of environ-mental problems. This is for the sake of preparing iliology teacher at the Faculty of Education, beside determining the reflection of this preparation on the secondary stage students.
To achieve this aimr the following questions must be answerd:-
1-What are the environmental problems that must be included in Faculty of Education, preparing progr-amme for Biology teacher? and what are the related concepts?
2-How can a programme of environmental problems be prepared?
3-What is the effect of teaching a unit of this pro-gramme by the ingeery method in developie.g environ-mental concepts and attitudes?
Are there significant differences in students teac-hers in achieving environmental and in attainment the attitude towards environment before and after teaching the unit?
5- Are there a_significant differences in secondary stage students in attaining environmental concepts before and after teaching The unit?

6-Are there a significante differences in secondary stage students with sexual differences in achieving environmental concepts after teaching the unit?
7-Is there a significante relation between achieving environmental concepts and attaining the attitude towards environment?
The importance of this study comes from its relation with the programme of teacher’s preparation, and evalu-ating special methods of teaching and their efficiency, and from its concern mith present environmental problems.
This study follows the experimental method and depen44 on the following tools:
1-An achievenment test - prepared by the researcher and contains (40) forty item circle- around concepts including the subject matter and its validity by introducing it to a jury and according to its stability through Guttman formula of split half after its application on the sample, this stability value is about 0.86 concerning the first year, secandary stage students, and 0.88, concerning the students teachers sample.
2-A test for the attitude towards the pollution by the researcher and contains forty items deal with the

subject matter content from its validity through a jury and its stability by the use of Croanbach called stability,— 04 tAlfa)and it is about 0.58, 0.61.
This study was performed on twenty one students boys and girls from students of practical education in Benha city, beside 66 students from the first secondary stage students, at Benha secondary school for boys and Benha secandary school for girls.
The study tries to answer its questions and investi-gating the following hypothesis after choosing one of the programme units:-
Firstly: Student-teachers:-
1-There are significant differences in the average of environmental concepts achievement degrees in student-teachers before and after teaching the unit for the benefit of the post applica-tion test.
2-There are Significant differences ir the level of attatengthe attitude towards the pollution in student teachers before and after teaching the unit for the benefit of the post-test application for the test of attitude towards pollution.

3- There is a positive relation between concepts achievement and attiaining the attitude towards the impuriety in student teachers after teaching the unit and as tested by the achievementel test and the attitude standard towards the pollution. Secondly
Secondary stage students:
There are significant differences in the level of achiebing environmental conccpts in the first secondar year before and after teaching the unit on the post
test application.
5-There are significant differences in the level of the degree of attionin: tlArironmental concepts in the first year, secondary stage after teaching the unit for the sake of boys.
6-There are significant differences for the nake of the post eipplication towards pollution.
7-There are significant differences in the level of acquiring the attitude towards pollution in the first• secondary year stuaents after te?.chint; the unit for the sake of boys. The previous hypothesis were prepared after:
1- Preparing a theoritical frame around:-
a- The concept pf the environmental education and its aims, and the difference between it ;end the study of the environment end so betvieen it
and the environmental approach with determining its relations with science education and science

teaching .
b-Environmental concepts, their meanings, their methods of teaching and their importance in learning and teaching.
c-The environmental attitudes and the way of their change and modification.
2- Previous studies and their classifications on the basi of the study variables and tools.
Preparing the programme frame after collecting a list
of environmental concepts and the certainity of its practical sound; and organizing these concepts in the form of problems with preparing a theoritical frame alp( the inquiry teaching method end the teacher’s style an( his usage in teaching and his merits.
The researcher used the suitable statistical styles to test the validity of the study hypothese’s they are:
1-T. Test.
2-Corrolation factor .
The results of this study can be listed as follow: Firstly :- Student teachers:-
1- There are attaining differences in the level degree of attaining environments:: concepts before and after teaching the unit for the sake of the post application for the achievement test.

2-there are significant differences in the level degree of acquiring the environmental attitude before and after teaching the unit for the sake of the post application test of the attitude towards the Pollution.
3-There is no significant relation between achieving con-cepts and aquiring the attitude towards pollution after teachin_l the unit. .Secandly:
Secondary stage students, first year.
4-There are differences in the level degree in achieving environmental concepts in the first secondary year studen before and after teaching the unit for the sake of the post test application.
5-There are no significant differences between boys and girls in achieving environmental concepts in the first secondary students after teaching the unit.
6-There are staitistical differences in the level degree of acquiring the attitude towards the P ollution in the first year before and after teaching the unit for the post application test for achievement test.
7-There are no statistical differences in the level degree of acquiring the attitude towards therellttion in the first year secondary stage students after teachinE
The unit.

In the light of the previous results the study concludes a group of recommendations concerning teachers prepar-ation, and secondary stage students, thzn recommendations for furthes researches.
