Abstract The present investigation aims to study the physiological response of tomato plants to a group of growth regulators namely ca, ccc, iba and b-9. The results obtained show that plants treated with ga show a highly significant increase in the plant height compared with control plants and this effect is more pronounced at the high level and the first date of application. Ccc proves to be the most effective growth Regulator in increasing the number of flowers per plant followed by ca, whereas iba and b-9 give a slight decrease in this respect . |
