Abstract
The data used in the present study comprise 2874 milk records of buffaloes producing for 150 days in four farms located in gemmeiza mehalet moussa giza and sids over period of 40 years from 1934 to 1973 least squares overall means of the lactation traits are 485.7 5.3 kg., 264 . 7 2.6 kg -p 215 . * 35.8 and 325.2 - 4.6 days for imy , mmy , tmy respectively. In most cases, highly significant (p.(o.ol) and positive phenoypic correlations are found between persistency indices.
