Abstract
From The Results Obtained, Pronounced Decline In Cyolane Residue Is Encountered After The 7th. Day Of Chemical Treatment. Cyolane Proves To Be More Persistant On Maize Plants Than On Clover. Although Phosvel Residue Persists Long On Maize Plant, Yet The Amount Recovered Is, Generally, Less Than The Corresponding Value Recovered From Cyolane Residues At The Same Level Of Concentration. Biological Studies Reveal That Phosvel Proves To Have A Rather Long Lasting Biological Effect On The Fourth Instar Larvae Of Spodoptera Litteralis Boisd.The Relative Potency For The Female Cholinesterase Assayed From Different Organs Show That The Inhibition Of This Enzyme Is Correlated With The Dose Of Chemical Injected.
