Abstract
A study for establishing an effective system for quality control to create a new department responsible for making the coordination necessary through the various quality Activities and conduct quality planning and analysis. The form of the quality control department, its responsibilities, Its location on the organization chart are outlined. The foundry which requires written approval of qualification samples by the customer before scheduling full production is ’discussed under four subtitles product specifications, casting design, design control and samples for qualification testing. The techniques of raw materials control are studied. The final inspection and test methods used in the foundry to determine whether or not the casting meets the specified quality requirements are involved.
