Abstract conducted to study some risk factors of hypertension in offspring of hypertension parents in comparison with offspring of normotensive parents. The study included 100 subjects . with the age ranged from 12-18 years, 50 were offspring of hypertensive parents and 50 were offspring of normotensive parents. For the offspring of hypertensive parents, the mean resting SBP was (l 0 1.8±9), the mean peak SBP (197.2± 27) with change rate (47.7±7.6), 14 subjects (280/0) showed exaggerated systolic response to exercise, the mean resting DBP was (76.5± 7.5), the mean peak DBP (71± 9.5) with change rate (0.82 ± 7.9), the mean resting HR was (83.6 ± 8.7), the mean peak HR was (l93.5±9.1) with change rate (57.8 ±5 )The Mean target HR was (94. 7±4.3) and the mean METS was (12.5± 1.8MEq). By using anthropometric measurements, the mean 8MI was (30 ± 5.1 kg / m’), |
