Abstract This work aims at studying: 1) the populations of the insect’s soil stacks (larvae and pupae) in clover fields. 2) effect of irrigation of the soil stages in these fields (to evaluate the 10 th. of May law). 3) the vertical and horizontal distributions of the egg masses on cotton plants. 4) the daily movements of larvae and the hourly distribution of the adults in the cotton field. 5) the economic threshold of damage and the economic injury level of the pest in cotton fields. The results obtained show that the larvae and pupae begin to appear in the soil samples collected from clover fields by the first week of february. The population of the soil stages increases with the retardation of the last irrigation. |
