Abstract
Three laboratory experiments were carried out at the experimental laboratory at the agronomy department , faculty of agriculture, minia university, the first experiment was conducted on soybean seeds , whereas the second was on wheat grains , and the third on faba bean seeds.
Three storage periods were studies, i.e. two , four and six months after harvesting .three storage containers were used : glass jute sacks and black plastic bage .the tested materialsused were (1)natural protectants ,neem leaves , 200g/5kg seed, (2) phosphine 0.05/5k seeds , (3)malathion ,4.0g/5k seeds ,(4)control treatment .complete randomized blocks design with four replications was used .36treatments obtained from the the combination between studied factors.
