Abstract Pregnant females under the study are categorized under the high-risk group, as application of scoring system done by Hobel , et al, revealed that the majority of our total sample ( 52.9%) are at high risk . the risk factors that discovered among them are numerous and include extremes of age, illiteracy, grand multiparity, short inter- pergnancy spacing and disorders include hypertension, UTI and RHD. Bad service offered in MCH centers (39.3%) followed by reluctance (27.3%), lack of knowledge about MCH center services (21.3), good service but away from house (8.7%) and finally other cases (3.3%) were the causes of non attending MCH centers in this study. |
