Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the newly developed enzyme immunoassay for the detection of serum cardiac troponin-T as a new biochemical cardiac marker in the early diagnosis of acute myocardial infraction. This study includes 15 individuals of apparently healthy blood donors with no history of cardiovascular disease as a control group, 35 patients with suspected acute myocardial infraction, and 7 patients with muscle trauma.
