Abstract The aim of this work is to evaluate the results of open reduction, femoral derotation osteotomy, Salter and Dega pelvic osteotomy for management ofCDH in children above the age of 3 years. In our study, 28 children (40 hips) with previously untreated CDH had been treated with one-stage open reduction, femoral derotation osteotomy and femoral shortening with or without Salter innominate osteotomy or Dega transiliac osteotomy, The surgery on the femoral component of the hip in children with average age 39,6 months gives a stable concentric reduction with the head in neutral position of abduction and abduction. |
