Abstract

studies the dynamic performance of Material Testing Reactor ”MTR”, where the performance of any reactor reflects its safety behavior and it should enhance its ’c characteristics ”system corrects itself internally without introducing external ’ve action” .
‎. present work analyzes and studies the dynamic performance of MTR through the function.
‎servo system parameters can be changed to fit the system demand. The servo system is
‎excellent approximation to some of the practical servo system currently used in reactor I system, and a quadratic form of this sort should closely approximate the behavior .. almost any type of physical equipment which might be chosen to drive a control rod.

‎sed changes in servo system parameters could enhance the dynamic performance of system, but the suitable parameters can be evaluated by using the automatic reactor control system model.
‎.The recovery time depend on the capability of primary cooling system.
‎’•The work also studies rod ejection accident when the reactor in start up mode (open loop¬feedback still zero) and in power mode.
‎~. A sensitive analysis for the servo system parameters was done to obtain the parameters . predict the response of the reactor. The results are validated practically by using real .. g from a typical MTR. It was found that the model successfully predict the response . the reactor after any imposed change and its response is in a fair agreement with the . ’w readings derived from rod calibration. Results for one rod in a typical MTR had

‎Jy, this study assesses the intrinsic characteristics of MTR which causes the recovery -to occur without external intervention to correct the action.
