Abstract
Acute myocardial infarction is a well known insuit which evoked humoral and in particular hormonal distrurbances which may influence the clinical course of the disease through their metabolic and cardiac effects. The present study aimed to study the levels of serum insulin and cortisol in patients with acute myocardial infarction and to elucidate their levels in various clinical presentations.
