Abstract This study included 15 patients with chronic renal failure all were admitted to medical department of the Alexandria university hospital they were 12 males and 3 females they have an average age 36.53 years. All of them were subjected to full clinical examination laboratory investigations ( including haemoglobin percentage, red cell count haematocrit value blood urea , s. creatinine , creatinine clearance, serum sodium and serum potassium ) , x-ray of the heart including cardiac volume and electrocardiographic and fundus examinations Patients were managed according to their findings and four patients underwent dialysis . Seven patients were diagnosed as chronic interstitial nephritis four as chronic glomerulonephritis two as malignant hypertension one as obstructive uropathy and the diagnosis could not be proved in one patient . |
