Abstract
This work included seven chapters; chapter one represents an introduction, industrialization and pollution, importance of the study, objectives of the study and plan of the study. Chapter two represents the importance of the industrialization in the Egyptian economic development programs and the pollution problems. Chapter three represents an economic reform program and the lessons from another countries. Chapter four demonstrates that the Egyptian privatization program is the cornerstone of the economic reform program.
Chapter five deals into five parts; first part represents concepts of pollution and environment, the second part represents an application of environment law in industrial sector, the third part represents the role of banking system in pollution prevention programs and its efficiency in current stage, the fourth part represents the bond between privatization impacts and pollution prevention programs, the fifth part represents the Egyptian economy and industrial pollution.
Chapter six includes case study of the textile industry and challenges are facing it in Egypt. It is concluded from this study that there are shortages in financing methods and tools for companies to adapt their environmental conditions especially, the specialized banks.
