Abstract (I) In chapter 1, an introduction is given which deals with the following fields of interest: 3.) Electrocheulical nature of corrosion. 2) Electrochewical cell and corrosion cell. 3) Cathodic reaction in corrosion. 4) Inhibitors. 5) Types of inhibitors. 6) Effects of o1ecu1er structure. 7) Literature survey of inhibition of iron corrosion in acidic solutions. 8) Corrosion inhibition by polyfunctional chelating compounds. 9) Aim of investigation. (II) In chaper II, the experiniental techniques used were:— 1) Chemical techniques: a— Gasonietry The measurements were carried out on steel in i.QM in absence and in presence of different concentrations of each of oxalic dihydrazide, malonic dihydrazide, succinic dihydrazide, pimalie dihydrazide, 2,3,2—tet and (14) ane N4. |
